The annual end-of-year book swap will be held on May 24 - 25.  Students may bring gently used books on May 24 to D-4 and will receive one ticket for each book.  During recess on May 25, students can exchange their tickets in D-4 for a new-to-you book.  Students look forward to this event every year.  Happy summer reading!

The California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress, or CAASPP, is the state’s academic testing program.  CAASPP is a system intended to provide information that can be used to monitor student progress and ensure that all students leave high school ready for college and career.  CAASPP includes computer adaptive assessments in English-Language Arts and mathematics for students in grades 3-8, and 11 and paper-based tests in science for students in grades 5, 8 and 10.
This year, testing dates are as follows:

o Grade 3-8 May 2 - June 10, 2016

o Grade 11 April 20 – June 10, 2016

Science Test April 15 -May 19, 2016
