Our Principal

Monte Gardens is pleased to introduce our new  Alexander Bennett as the Principal of Monte Gardens Elementary School in Concord.

Alexander brings a strong educational background with degrees from Washington State University, Michigan State University, Western Washington University, and continued coursework through National University.

His professional experience is broad and unique. Alexander began his career teaching Kindergarten, First, Second, and Sixth grades. Over the years, he has served in various leadership roles, including Elementary, Middle, and High School Principal, as well as Head of School.

Alexander’s journey in education has taken him across the United States and world. He has worked in private schools in Taiwan, Thailand, Myanmar, Colombia, Paraguay, Venezuela, and Panama.

He returned to California last year as a school administrator in another district. Living in the state is a joy for Alexander, as it allows him to be closer to his three children and one grandchild.

He is looking forward to building strong, trusting relationships centered on supporting children and enhancing their educational experience.
